Stone Veneer for Interior Walls: Real Natural Stone for Modern Wall Design

1.) Prepare the substrate
The wall should be solid, dry, clean and free from dust or loose material. Suitable substrates include plaster, drywall, wood-based panels, tiles or other stable surfaces.

2.) Plan the surface and cut the sheets
Define the format, installation pattern and joint layout in advance. Slate-Lite can be cut with simple tools – depending on the application, for example with a cutter knife, jigsaw, handheld circular saw or angle grinder. Cut-outs for sockets or switches can be adjusted directly.

3.) Apply the adhesive
Use a suitable installation or surface adhesive and apply it evenly to the substrate or the back of the sheet. For larger surfaces, full-surface application is recommended.

4.) Install the sheets
Position the sheet, press it on evenly and align it. Thanks to its low weight and slim material thickness, Slate-Lite is also easy to install on larger wall surfaces.

5.) Finish edges and connections
Visible edges can be cleanly sanded, adjusted or finished with suitable profiles. Sockets, switches, corners and wall connections can be integrated neatly into the overall design.

The result: a genuine natural stone wall with minimal build-up height, low weight and significantly less effort than solid stone slabs.
